At Arete Academy, we recognize that unique learners require a unique approach. Our projects, assignments and classwork are tailored each year to meet the diverse needs of our students.

We base our curriculum on Minnesota State Standards, Common Core Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards, adapting them to fit our students' learning profiles. These standards serve as a foundation, but we encourage our students to go beyond them and develop flexibility in their skills.

Our Educational Philosophy

Technology and Accomodations

Each student at Arete Academy has access to a Chromebook during the school day. Our technology includes text-to-speech and speech-to-text capabilities, with student web security monitored through platforms like Securly and GoGuardian.

504s, IEPs and More

Students do not need a 504 plan or an IEP to enroll, though we accommodate those who have them. We use these documents to guide appropriate accommodations for our students.
